It all began in Palm Springs California. Contemporary art, desert landscapes, and the easy vintage lifestyle molding a JFK mindset. Born in the Federal District, Mexico City; fast forward to graduation from Palm Springs High School excelling in advanced art. It's evident throughout my work with lines and shapes; that I use various bright colors to make it more appealing to the eye. Contemporary art suitable for all to enjoy.
Using a Sony Cyber-shot 12.1 mega pixels camera in a 2008 winter in South Korea, allowed me to capture my moments during my early Army career, not forgetting my passions for art I would draw what I captured. It wasn't until I lived in Kentucky that I had a deep desire to do something with my passion for contemprary and modern art, but kick started in Germany.
Spending almost 4 years in Europe was an inspiration from a young 22 year old living in Germany with a bit of rumbustiousness. I always had a desire to do "my own thing" living in Germany for four years granted me the opportunity to travel through out the European Union. Arts, styles and fashion is seen everywhere thus enlightening me with new ideas.
The Russian Federation definitely allowed me to expand my horizon. Морис is what my name is in Russia thus creating the Mauяice signature name. I take great passion in my art pieces and this is what makes my artwork unique; coming from where I come from not many have the opportunity to travel and see and paint what I have seen. I’m primarily a contemporary artist, I enjoy using a variety of colors in a variety of abstract pieces. I enjoy the freedoms that art offer.
